Description:
Five long glass lantern slides showing what appears to be portions of the solar spectrum.
Four slides are original spectrographs on glass with the emulsion side protected by a second piece of glass. Then the pairs are enclosed in brown paper tape on all sides. Two slides have red paper labels, marked "1" and "2."
The fifth slide is a photograph of a page in a book showing tow lines of spectra plus bits of other figures. It is also made from two plates of glass. It is sealed with black paper "leatherette" tape.
