Description:
The model stands on a rectangular wooden base plate. A rounded wooden peak rises from just behind the front edge of the base. The mechanisms of the model are mounted to the back. The model is framed by a hollow wooden disc with four spokes on the back. A large solid wooden disc with rounded gear teeth around the circumference is attached to the top of the peak that rises from the base. There are six smaller solid wooden disks, with rounded gear teeth, in between the large central disc and the external wooden frame. Each is attached to a small spoke by a brass pivot that permits the disc to rotate. The inner front edge of the external frame is also serrated with rounded gear teeth. Emerging from the front of the top of the peak rising from the base are two arrows on a brass axle. A red arrow is closest to the front of the mechanism and a black arrow is furthest forward.
