Description:
This is a bell jar made from clear glass. Normally, bell jars have a bell-like shape with a rounded, closed top and an open bottom. While this particular model has an open bottom and a bell-like shape, it has a thick lip and an open top.

There is a small, tan sticker at the bottom with information about the provenance of this object and its date written in black ink (see inscriptions for more details).
