Description:
A wooden case with a hinged lid containing inside a black metal voltmeter. Its panel consists of a raised section in the shape of an inverted bell with a scale behind a window along the semicircular edge. The scale has two ranges, one marked in black above it 0-150 (volts), another marked in red below it, 0-75 (volts). There is a reflecting band below the scale and it has a thin pointer. On the flat part of the panel are four buttons, two on the bottom left marked with a "0" and two on the right marked "75" and "150".
The wooden case has a leather handle near the bottom end of the instrument.
