FunctionThis tube has a heavy platinum and copper target. It has an additional flat anode that is supposed to improve the tube's performance. There is an asbestos spark regenerator to optimize the gas pressure inside the tube.
Curatorial Remarks"Old gas X-ray tube vintage of 1910. No good except as an antique" has been written on the instrument.
