Description:
The box has sixteen drawing stencils, usually called French curves. They were used to draw smooth curves for fun or for scientific purposes (such as drawing a curve on a graph). All but three of these curves have tape on them, to add friction on the drawing surface so they would not slide around. The box also has a pen (which looks like tweezers), a compass, a drawing extension, and a cylindrical lead holder. Some stencils come from a scientific/engineering company, one from a drawing company, and one from a toy company.
