FunctionThis is a device that measures the amount of electrical power consumed between two points in a circuit. In practice, it does not measure it directly, but by simultaneously reading the current going through it, and the voltage between the two points. Its inner elements are arranged in a way that the needle shows the multiplication of current and voltage readings, which is the wattage (IxV=P).
The electrical connectors on the left side are for measuring voltage, and one can choose between the ranges 0-75 or 0-150 volts. The connectors on the right side are for measuring current.
