Description:
A four-dial step switch resistance box in which are stored several coils designed for an electric current to pass through. There are four dials on top, each with ten steps at 1, 10, 100, and 1000 ohms. There are also two small binding posts at the top. The instrument is mounted on a square hard rubber panel on a metal box with perforated metal sides.
According to the original museum card, a catalogue in which this instrument originally appeared was priced at $100 and it was advertised with an accuracy of 0.05%.
