Description:
A black enameled metal case of a vertical rectangular shape. On its front it has a scale behind a rectangular window. It has two scales one alongside the other, one logarithmic in black, the other linear in red. The black scale goes from 1 to 10, and is labeled "A.C. VOLTS". The red one goes from 0 to 20 and is labeled "DECIBELS". The pointer is a very thin needle.
The front of the instrument also contains a large dial with settings from 0.01 to 100, an electrical connector labeled "AC OUTPUT", two switches labeled "NULL DET." and "ON OFF", and two large electrical connectors near the bottom, one of which is labeled "GND".
The instrument has a long power cord with standard prongs and also has a handle on top that seems to be improvised from a cut cable.
