Description:
Eight Tolles objectives came with the Zentmayer microscope. Seven were stored with other Tolles optical elements in CHSI inv. 1045a, b, c, but have been returned to this instrument and listed here as 1214a-g. These are dated.

Historical AttributesPurchased by J. Rowe Webster, Harvard A. B. 1893 for his own use. He tutored, taught at Mantor Hall, and was interested in science. He lived in Lexington most of his life, then moving to Milton, his family home, and died in Hingham at the age of 84.
Curatorial RemarksObjectives a-g are housed together as a separate blue board box with the microscope.
