DescriptionRectangular wooden rule with three slides, faced with white celluloid. The top and bottom slides are fixed; the center slide moves to left and right. The top and bottom slides are bolted to an L-shaped metal plate on both sides of both ends. A clear celluloid runner, with a vertical indicating line and a metal and celluloid frame at its top and bottom edges, also slides left and right.
Six scales are printed on the front of the slide rule. Along the bottom edge of the top, fixed slide is an "A" scale composed of two logarithmic scales (values 1 to 10) placed side by side. Along the top edge of the center, moveable slide is a "B" scale identical to the top slide's "A" scale.
Printed along the center of the center, moveable slide is an "S" scale carrying values from 35' to 90°. Along the bottom edge of the same slide is a "T" scale, with values ranging from 5.5 to 45.
Along the top edge of the bottom, fixed slide is a logarithmic "D" scale carrying values from 1 to 10. Near the bottom of the bottom slide is a "K" scale composed of three logarithmic scales (1 to 10) placed side by side.
Seven scales are printed on the back of the rule. Along the bottom edge of the top, fixed slide is a "DF" scale, a logarithmic scale that wraps around from [pi] to 10, then from 1 to [pi]. Printed along the top edge of the center, moveable slide is a "CF" scale identical to the "DF" scale above.
Printed in red second from the top along the center slide is an inverted logarithmic scale "CIF", which has values descending from 3.2 to 1, then from 10 to 3.1. Also printed in red, third from the top along the center slide, is an inverted logarithmic scale "CI", which has values descending from 10 to 1.
Printed along the bottom edge of the center slide is a logarithmic scale "C", with values ascending from 1 to 10. An identical scale "D" is printed along the top edge of the bottom, fixed slide.
Printed near the bottom of the bottom, fixed slide is a scale "L" carrying values from 0 to 10.
