Description:
As its name indicates, this is a simplified slide rule. On the front, it shows four scales A [BC] D and on the back, three S L T (the L scale increasing to the right). The cursor is made of glass and of a metal frame, detailed in the patent (patented on 8 November 1938). On the back are tables of conversions taken from the U.S. Bureau of Standards, circular No. 47. The slide rule is made of boxwood and the scales are printed on a white painted surface.
