Description:
Sanborn Viso-Cardiette cardiography machine, contained in a metal-hinged wooden box. Upper console has two large dials, four smaller knobs and buttons, and a clear window showing the cardiograph tape in its own housing underneath.
A hinged door in the back allows access to the cardiograph tape. There is also a screened window for ventilation in the back. There is a metal-rimmed slot on one side of the wooden box where the cardiography reading would be emitted. Toothed edges allow for the ripping off of a length of cardiographic tape.
