This object is a papier mâché model of the feline nervous system. The model is clastic, which is to say separable into smaller parts. While this model is similar in appearance to those in the collection made by Louis Thomas Auzoux, it is not signed nor does it exhibit the high degree of finish and detail apparent in most of his models.
