Description:
This objective prism is rectangular in profile with a working aperture of about 10 x 10 inches. The angle is about 12° to 13°. The prism is cushioned by strips of thick red felt and held in a wood frame surrounded by brass plates and corner castings. The wood and interior brass parts are painted black.
One side of the cell is marked "TOP" on the frame. The corner castings are marked, "H.C.O. / 1085."
