A collection of compass cards, both originals and replicas. The one with the gazetteer in the form of a table is from a Bloud-type magnetic azimuth sundial, made in Dieppe. See horizontal compass dial 7917 for a complete Debombourg instrument.
Signedon one card: Debombourg A Lyon.
Curatorial RemarksReference from Websters' maker database states that there was a Pierre DeBombourg working in Lyon in the 18th century.
