DescriptionThree-sided wooden rule with a central channel groove running the length of each side. Each edge of each side is printed with at least one scale.
Printed along the top edge of the first face of the rule is a scale in inches, graduated into sixteenths. The number 16 is printed to the left of this scale. Along the bottom edge of the face of the rule are scales in three-thirtyseconds inches (left to right) and three-sixteenths inches (right to left).
Printed along the top edge of the second face of the rule are scales in half-inches (left to right) and inches (right to left). To the right of these scales is a scale in twelfth-inches, graduated into quarters. Printed along the bottom edge of the second face of the rule are scales in eighth-inches (from left to right) and quarter-inches (from right to left).
Along the top edge of the second face are, from left to right: an inverted scale in eighth-inches, graduated into quarters; a scale in one and one-half inches; and a scale in quarter-inches, graduated into eighths. From right to left along the top edge is a scale in three inches. Printed along the bottom edge of the third face of the rule are scales in three-eighths inches (from left to right) and three-quarters inches (from right to left).
