Description:
Black, red, and blue col-oring. Tablet I is a thin slice of ivory, II is a sandwich of two slices of ivory with a beech-wood core. Front and back faces of ivory are noticeably curved. Brass wire clasps on I and II. Brass pin on face ofIIa to keep the two leaves aligned when the dial is closed. Com-pass needle, glass, and metal ring intact. Includes black tooled leather case [3.7 (w) x 5.5 (1) x 2.1 (h) cm] which slides open and shut. Inner lin-ing of multi-colored paper. See full description in Steven A.
