Description:
This Leitz Greenough-type stereoscopic microscope is model UBM-H. It is provided with a table clamp to which is attached an upright pillar. A horizontal arm slides in and out of a heavy clamping socket that is free to move up and down on the upright. At the end of the arm is a universal joint to which is attached a track with a clamping lever. A slider in the track has the rack and pinion, which operates another track with a clamping lever. The slider carrying the binocular tube is clamped here. An objective adaptor is attached below the tube and takes the paired objectives, each on its own slide.
