FunctionThis is a model of the intensity of radiation emitted by an antenna in all directions. The antenna represented would be at the center of the figure, and the distance from the center represents the intensity in that particular direction.
It can also represent the sensitivity of detection of an antenna, as both patterns are the same.
This particular model represents an antenna that emits very well in two definite directions.
