The T-square is constituted of two wooden beams of differing lengths. The shorter beam is attached flush and perpendicular to the longer beam at one end by five screws. The opposite end of the longer beam has a small circular hole drilled through it.
Signedengraved inside a circle on the long arm: F.P CO.
Inscribedengraved underneath triangle on long edge: 24
FunctionT-squares are used primarily for drawing horizontal lines, relative to some fixed perpendicular rule like the side of a draftsmen's table. They can also be used to aid in the drawing of triangles or the squaring off of various materials in construction.
