DescriptionRectangular wooden rule with three slides, faced with white celluloid. The top and bottom slides are fixed; the center slide moves from left to right and is printed on both sides. A glass runner with metal along its top and bottom edges also moves to left and right, and is printed with three red vertical indicating lines.
Above the top slide the beveled edge of the rule base is printed with a scale in inches, graduated into thirty-seconds.
Printed along the top edge of the top, fixed slide is an unlabeled scale composed of three logarithmic scales (values 1 to 10) placed side by side. Along the bottom edge of the top slide is an unlabeled scale composed of two logarithmic scales (values 1 to 10) placed side by side. In addition, the values 8 and 9 are printed in red to the left of the first index of this scale, and the right-hand logarithmic scale is extended to 1.3, also in red.
Printed along the top edge of the bottom, fixed slide is an unlabeled logarithmic scale carrying values from 1 to 10. The scale is extended in red at both ends: to 9 on the left, and to 1.1 on the right. Along the bottom edge of the same (bottom) slide is an unlabeled scale with values ranging from 0 to 10.
The face of the center, moveable slide is printed with three scales. Along its top edge is an unlabeled scale identical to the bottom scale on the top, fixed slide. Along its bottom edge is a "C" scale identical to the top scale on the bottom, fixed slide. Printed in red along the center of the center slide is an unlabeled inverted logarithmic scale, with values descending from 10 to 1. The scale is extended at both ends: to 1.1 on the left, and to 9 on on the right.
The back of the center, moveable slide is also printed with three scales. Along its top edge is an "S" scale carrying values from 5.5 to 90. Along its bottom edge is a "T" scale, with values ranging from 5.67 to 45. Printed along the center of the center slide is an "S&T" scale carrying values from 35' to 6°.
The slide rule is stored in a brown leather case with flap closure and model information printed in gold.
