Description:
Extremely thin aluminum foil leaves stored in three separate envelopes. Each originally contained 12 of these foils.

FunctionUsed in electroscopes, designed to measure the amount of electric charge on a body's surface. These aluminum foils would gather electricity and separate from one another at an angle. The angle separation provides a measure of the amount of electricity.
