Historical AttributesThis Zeiss photomicrographic apparatus was purchased by the Bussey Institution in 1914 on the order of Irving Widmer Bailey, Professor of Forestry. It was the last shipment received from Germany before the declaration of war.
Later the apparatus was used in the Gray Herbarium, room 108. It was presented to CHSI by Professor Elso Barghoorn of the Herbarium.
