The Brooklyn Thermometer Company began operations in 1903, manufacturing laboratory thermometers in Brooklyn, New York, then known as the center of the thermometry art. The Teichert family, which assumed management responsibilities in 1917, continues to lead the Company in advanced development of precision thermometry and hydrometry.
