Will Corporation

1919-circa 1970

View All Objects
The Will Corporation was incorporated in 1919 following Roland Will's purchase of the Bausch & Lomb Company's Apparatus and Chemical Departments. The Will Corporation, headquartered in Rochester, acquired the Buffalo Apparatus Corporation in the mid-nineteen thirties. Shortly thereafter the company moved to New York City. After World War II the Will Corporation added warehouses in Atlanta and Baltimore, and established Will of West Virginia in Charleston. In 1964, the company acquired the laboratory supply division of Macalaster Scientific Corporation of Cambridge, Massachusetts and its name changed to Will Scientific Inc. Additional acquisitions followed.

See Will Catalog 9 (1966): III for more information.
