Spencer R. Crew

born 1949

Crew began his new career as a NMAH historian in 1981.Dr. Crew became a curator in the museum's Division of Community Life in 1987, and was named chair of the Department of Social and Cultural History in 1991. He served as the museum's acting deputy director from 1991 to 1992.
