Trans-Lux Daylight Picture Screen Corporation

founded 1920

Trans-Lux Daylight Picture Screen Corporation was founded in 1920 by Percy Norman Furber. The company produced the first rear projections that could be seen in the daylight and installed the projection in the New York Stock Exchange to show the moving stock ticker. Today the company produces scrolling news feeds and other LED screen technology.
