Optisches Institut von Seibert & Krafft were instrument makers. The company was founded when Heinrich Seibert and his brother Wilhelm Seibert, in partnership with Georg Krafft, took over the workshop of Ernst Gundlach, where they had been employed, in Wetzlar, in 1872.
