Founder of Wang Laboratories. Born in Shanghai, China in 1920, came to America after World War II to study at Harvard. Worked with Howard Aiken at the Harvard Computation Laboratory. Founded Wang Laboratories in 1951. Made several innovations in magnetic tape memory, and headed Wang through its years of working as a provider of computers for office use.
