Kellogg Switchboard & Supply Company
The company was founded in 1897 by Milo G. Kellogg to manufacture telephone equipment at the expiration of the original Bell patents. The company grew in the switchboard system with many original innovations. Like many other companies, Kellogg jumped on the radio manufacturing business in the 1920s (1923) only to close it during the Depression in 1930.
In 1951, the International Telephone & Telegraph Corporation (est. 1920) bought a majority interest in Kellogg. It rebranded the company ITT Kellogg.
