Arcturus Radio Company
Arcturus Radio Company was established in Newark, New Jersey in 1926, and incorporated in Delaware.. The name was soon changed to Arcturus Radio Tube Company. The firm made its own tubes and had a research and development staff to design and patent new forms. The firm was licensed by RCA in 1929.
Arcturus made tubes for other companies as well as its own brand, including Sonora, Crosley, Sears, and Sparton.
The firm filed for bankruptcy in 1937.
