General Radio Company

1915-present

General Radio Company or GENRAD was an early manufacturer of electronic tools and instruments. The company was founded in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1915.

The company had several buildings over the years in Cambridge, MA, in the block closed by Massachusetts Ave, Windsor St. and State St.

In 2001, the company was acquired by Teradyne, which has kept the GENRAD brand on some of its products.
