Robert A. Smith

Robert A. Smith is a Distinguished Assistant Professor of Biology at the University of the Sciences. His research interests are "in developing antimicrobial assays for evaluating herbal remedies for antibacterial and anthelmintic activity, and in the identification of active compounds from these materials using HPLC, Mass Spectrometry and other methods. He is also interested in educational research and scholarly work, including development of problem solving case studies to teach science process skills biology, active engagement activities for lectures, and evaluation of assessment tools for determining the influence of these activities on learning."
