Dwight Shepler

Dwight Shepler was a US Navy artist who made his career painting scenes, from the Normandy invasion in 1944 until he retired. He continued to paint, chiefly making landscapes and personal portraits. He was at one point in his life the President of the Guild of Boston Artists. He lived most of his life in his natal Massachusetts.
