Benjamin Pike, Jr.

Benjamin Pike, Jr. first worked with his father (Benjamin Pike, Sr.) between 1831 and 1841 under the firm name of Benjamin Pike & Son, opticians at the New York City addresses of 12 Wall and 166 Broadway. From 1841 to 1843, he worked with his father and brother Daniel under the firm name of Benjamin Pike & Sons, at the New York City address of 166 Broadway. He was in business until his death in 1864. In 1867, the name was changed to Benjamin Pike’s Son, and this firm remained in business until 1916.
